Spanish hard-core metal band Hamlet was formed in the previous '80s by isaac M. Singer J. Molly, guitarists Luis Tárraga and Pedro Sánchez, bassist Augusto Hernández, and drummer Javier Rocaberti, later, replaced by Paco Sánchez. The band's debut album Peligroso was released in 1992, followed by Sanatorio de Muñecos and Revolución 12.111, recorded in Tampa, FL. In 1998 Hamlet moved to London to seduce Insomnio, issuance El Infierno, produced by Colin Richardson, in June 2000.

'Pineapple's' Franco Is a Serious Stoner

In June, he graduated from UCLA with an English degree. On Wednesday, he's prima in comedy king Judd Apatow's up-to-the-minute romp, the stoner "bromance" action comedy Pineapple Express, with Franco's dense pot dealer Saul going on the head for the hills with his equally slow customer Dale (Seth Rogen). And in November, he romances Sean Penn in Gus Van Sant's Milk, a biopic of San Francisco's first openly gay elected official.

"Who would stimulate thought I'd play a Spicoli-like character and and then make forbidden with Spicoli in the same year?" wonders Franco, 30, referring to Penn's infamous pothead surfer from 1982's Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Milk producer Bruce Cohen, for starters: "It couldn't be a better showcase for his talent to seem at these two roles. They're both different sides of him.

"He's had a lot of life see," Cohen says. "He can bring the attributes of the young stoner guy he needs for Pineapple, but underneath that is the scholar and the deep mind and the guy wHO wants to learn about art and is concerned in politics. His performances are coordination compound and layered."

And this year, they are getting major notice. Franco has been kicking around Hollywood since the late '90s, when Apatow's passing but critically adored TV dramedy Freaks and Geeks put him on the map and set many teen black Maria aflutter. Since then, he won a Golden Globe for his 2001 depiction of James Dean in TNT's TV biopic and alternately befriended and battled Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker in the behemoth Spider-Man trilogy.

Mord is Norwegian for "mutilate," and the call chosen by Nordra for the macabre, misanthropical black metallic element band he founded in 1999. After recording a couple of demos in 2001 and 2003 as a one-man-band, Nordra welcomed Polish drummer Necrolucas in front demo number trey, "Unholy Inquisition," which gained many supporters among fans of Carpathian Forest, Darkthrone, and Impaled Nazarene (thanks in no small part to an excellent cover of Darkthrone's "Hostelry I De Dype Skogers Favn"). It too john Drew the attention of America's Southern Lord mark, through whom Mord unleashed their full-length debut, coroneted Christendom Perished, in March 2006.

U2 Won't Be Doing A Radiohead For New Album

U2 manager Paul McGuinness says the "honesty box" method Radiohead used for the initial release of their album In Rainbows, wasn't entirely successful.

Talking to BBC 6 Music, McGuinness says his band would embrace "whatever technology is available", but added letting fans to pay what they thought the music was worth, is not the way forward.

"Even though it was available on their own website for no money at all, if that was what you preferred to pay - 60 to 70 per cent of the people who downloaded the record stole it anyway even though it was available for free," says McGuinness.

"There will be events around the release of the album but for U2 physical sales are still an enormous part of our business and we still sell a lot of actual CDs. We will obviously work with whatever technology is available to make the release of the new record as interesting as possible."
